About Wrapped Staked Ether
Wrapped Staked Ether is the wrapped, non-rebasing version of Lido's staked ether token. Instead of reflecting staking rewards through balance increases, wstETH accrues value through its exchange rate relative to stETH, which makes it easier to integrate into DeFi protocols and collateral systems. It is a widely used yield-bearing ETH wrapper in on-chain finance.
