About Mountain Protocol USD

USDM was Mountain Protocol's yield-bearing dollar token, backed by short-dated US Treasury bills. The protocol has since wound down: the primary market closed in August 2025, the reward rate is 0%, and the backing was moved to a Uniswap pool, so exiting is a swap at market rather than a redemption claim on the issuer. It still trades near a dollar, but it no longer accrues yield and carries no issuer redemption. Note that the USDM ticker is heavily reused across unrelated tokens, so matching by symbol alone will pick the wrong asset.
