Injective is a Layer 1 blockchain built with the Cosmos SDK and optimized for decentralized finance, including on-chain order books for spot, derivatives, and prediction markets. It offers fast, near-instant finality via a Tendermint-based proof-of-stake consensus and is IBC-enabled, allowing interoperability with other Cosmos chains, alongside an EVM-compatible execution environment (inEVM). INJ is the native asset used for staking, governance, transaction fees, and ecosystem incentives.
