HyperEVM is an EVM-compatible execution environment built into the Hyperliquid Layer 1, letting developers deploy standard Ethereum-tooling-compatible smart contracts that interact directly with Hyperliquid's native on-chain order book and trading infrastructure. It shares state and consensus with the rest of Hyperliquid's L1, using the HyperBFT consensus mechanism.
